The Purpose
TASH is
"An international association of people with disabilities, their family members,
other advocates, and professionals fighting for a society in which inclusion
of all people in all aspects of society is the norm." (source: TASH website)
As an International Advocacy Organization, TASH provides a valuable resource to everyone interested in
the quality of lives for people with disabilities.
Every fall, TASH organizes an annual
conference that attracts people from all over the world. The conference provides a gathering
place and a sense of belonging to a larger community of people all interested in a common goal.
Our Commitment

ALL people interested in the lives of people with significant
disabilities, families, people with disabilities (or self advocates),
researchers, support providers, school teachers and administrators and
government officials at the local, state, and federal level."

Total Living Concept is a proud member of TASH and supports their efforts on behalf of people with disabilities.
Each year, we
send a significant number of the People We Support
and our Direct Support Staff to the TASH Conference to fully participate in the issues that shape our lives.
Our Participation
In addition to our regular level of participation at the conference, this year, Total Living Concept is proud
to be a 'Community Living Strand' sponsor for the conference.
We are also delighted to have space in the Exhibit Hall this year, and will be on hand
to provide you with information and materials reflecting the services we offer to the People We Support.
We are pleased to announce that we will also be presenting Total Living Concept's approach to Supported Living: One Person = One Household, at the conference.
Several members of our organization will be available during the conference and we all look forward to seeing you there.
