The Purpose
The 2006 Valued Lives: Supporting Community Living conference is a State Wide Conference focused on supporting people to truly be present and connected to their individual communities.
Our Participation
Our organization was invited to provide two different presentations at the conference:
- It's Natural To Belong is a presentation by our community guides, providing an overview of belonging to individual communities and strategies to help foster local connections.
- One Person : One Home is a presentation outlining our philosophy and approach to supporting people in the community to have lives of their own design.
