Creating Space...
Total Living Concept provides our direct support professionals with assistance in
reserving meeting space, providing snacks, facilitating conversations, and
maintaining an ongoing opportunity for this group to continue their pursuits.
The "Heart of our Work" group has been instrumental in organizing
our Pathfinder's Workshop, our 25th Anniversary Celebration, 3 different Movie Screenings,
and a variety of other events.
The group meets on a regular basis to discuss upcoming events, and identify ways that all of TLC's
employee's can come together and
share their stories with each other. Idea's for future events include a knitting club,
nutrition/cooking classes, sign language classes, training sessions, and dialogue groups.
After the "Heart of our Work" was launched, many of our employee's have become regular contributing members.
