Direct Support Professional

DSP’s are responsible for supporting individuals to participate in the full range of activities that make up their life in the community. Including those activities both at home, and in their neighborhoods and communities, necessary to establish a lifestyle in accordance with the persons supported objectives.

Community Inclusion

Community Coach responsibilities include: Supporting individuals in community activities and social engagements, modeling and facilitating positive community interaction, exploring new opportunities and interests, attending assessments, developing and writing goals, maintaining proper documentation of support and the upkeep of caseload files. 

TLC's Interview Process

There are 2 phases to the interview process at TLC. The first interview is conducted by the Human Resources Department. If the applicant passes the initial interview, they will be invited for a second interview. The second interview is conducted by the Person We Support who has an opening on their team. The Person then decides if they would like to hire the applicant to work on their support team.
